2013 Workers’ Compensation Fraud in Florida – Another Example

Here is another example of workers’ compensation insurance fraud!

An investigation in Florida of I&T Financial Services, LLC, has found that the company was set up to execute a large scale check cashing scheme for the purpose of evading the cost of workers’ compensation insurance coverage.  The mastermind behind this scam, Domenick Pucillo, was charged with several crimes, including filing a false and fraudulent document, forgery, uttering a forged instrument, and operating an unlicensed money service business.

The company was subsequently shut down.  The investigators in this case were also able to seize $1 million during the course of the inquiry.  It is such a shame how this type of greed can affect the lives of so many innocent people.
