IWLF scholarship

At the Injured Workers Law Firm, we believe in our community and in education. We understand the importance of giving back, which is why our firm is a proud sponsor of a number of charitable organizations throughout the Richmond area.

As Richmond workers compensation lawyers, we advocate for employees throughout Virginia who have been injured or developed an illness at work. We have seen firsthand the strength of Virginia workers, particularly those in the trades, and how they form the backbone of our economy.

According to firm founder Michele Lewane, “We know that there is a demand for highly skilled workers in the trades, particularly in Virginia. These workers bring so much value to our state, and help to ensure that our communities thrive.”  Across the nation, high-paying skilled trade jobs are unfilled, while many students with bachelor’s degrees are unable to find jobs.

For this reason, the Injured Workers Law Firm has decided to offer a $5,000 trade school scholarship. The scholarship is available to ALL VIRGINIA STUDENTS who have been accepted to an accredited vocational or trade school, and who meet the qualifications as described below.

About Injured Workers Law Firm

Founded in 2006, the Injured Workers Law Firm is dedicated to assisting employees who have been hurt or developed an illness or disease while on the job. We advocate for workers by fighting to get the benefits or the settlement that they deserve for their workers’ compensation claim.

We offer personal service to each of our clients, offering open and accessible communication throughout the process. Our firm prides itself on being honest with prospective clients. If your case would be better handled and result in a larger settlement without the assistance of an attorney, we will advise you of this up front. Initial consultations are always free of charge.

At the Injured Workers Law Firm, we are here for the hardworking people of Virginia. We understand how challenging it can be to be hurt and out of work — and we want to help. To learn more or to schedule an appointment with a Richmond workers compensation attorney, call us at 804-755-7755, or contact us online at any time.
