Michael Baez – Legal Assistant
Introducing Michael Baez, the dedicated Legal Assistant to Christian Kline at Injured Workers Law Firm. Originally from New York, Michael’s roots trace back to Jamaica Queens, where his parents settled after migrating from the Dominican Republic. He briefly studied at the Interboro Institute of CUNY before beginning his career as an interpreter at two law firms in New York.
In 2002, Michael relocated to Richmond, Virginia, where he initially worked in the financial sector. His roles included Bilingual Customer Service Agent at SunTrust (now Truist Bank), Marketing Director for Livewell Financial, and Underwriter for Bank of America. However, his passion for helping others led him back to the legal field, where he has since been a vital advocate for the Hispanic community in Richmond, often collaborating with the Hispanic Chamber of Commerce on various charity events.
Outside of work, Michael has a deep love for drawing and enjoys traveling to Palm Springs, California, a destination he has cherished since 2018. Family is central to his life; he is the proud father of two children, Harold (25) and Michelle (15), and he never misses a Saturday with his youngest daughter.
Michael is inspired by the sermon “The King has one more move,” which reminds him that there is always hope and another opportunity. His motivation comes from being the first point of contact for clients in their time of need. He takes pride in providing “white glove” service, ensuring that each client feels confident and cared for during their workers compensation journey.
A devoted New York Giants fan, Michael brings his passion for excellence and commitment to the Injured Workers Law Firm, where he continues to make a positive impact on both clients and the community.
